I am a shutterbug from Taiwan. Born in 2003.
Currently I am an occupational therapy student studying at a university in Kaohsiung so that most of my shooting places are in Kaohsiung.
The more common photography styles I shoot include "street photography, travel photography, and event documentary", etc.
The reasons I feel like sharing my photography works are not merely recording my life and organizing photos, but also creating an emotional outlet for myself by sharing images and words, and of course, I also want to share the joy of photography with more people!
"Mar" is actually my Spanish name.
At the beginning of my Spanish class, the teacher introduced some names for everyone to choose from. I still remember the teacher said: "Mar represents 'sea' and is a unisex name." When I heard this sentence, I thought: "This is the name!".
The reason is quite simple, since I love 'sea' very much! In addition, "Mar" has three letters just like my English name, and I like this kind of niche unisex names very much!
As for why my Spanish name is used here instead of my English or Chinese name? Honestly, I just want to retain a little sense of mystery.
Most of my photography equipment is quite old, which is second-hand equipment that my family no longer uses.
